Now for a bit of bling...a card with more than a touch of gold to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary.

Today's as good a day as any to be thinking about how we show those we love that our lives are made better for having them around, whether it be partners, family or friends.

Here's a card I've made using a digital hearts die cut, Heartfelt Creations die cut owls and alcohol inks on yupo.

Materials used:

Yupo synthetic paper

Ranger alcohol ink: purple twilight, turquoise

Silhouette digital die cut

Heartfelt Creations die: sugar hollow bungalow

Promarkers: cool grey 2

February brings the rain...

Not sure where the days are going but it's February already. The verse for this month on The Craft Barn poem challenge is:

February brings the rain, 

Thaws the frozen lake again.

I have started everyone off with a mini canvas but Mickie has added a couple of twists to be included. I'm VERY glad she didn't ask me to do the twists as well! Take a look at the blog for details of how to enter and everyone's take on the poem. I'm looking forward to seeing how those twists turn out!
