What a lovely hot, sunny Sunday it is. Meterological summer really here in theory and in weather! The first Sunday of the month means the next verse of The Craft Barn twelve month challenge is on the blog:
June brings tulips, lilies, roses,
Fills the children's hands with posies.
Here's my mini canvas...
Do take a look at The Craft Barn blog and all of the other entries. I always try to comment on as many as possible, unfortnately the links don't always work for some reason.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend. Happy crafting xxx
Hello Claire, shame on me, I forgot to set the video public. Now it is available to watch. Thanks for letting me know it. :-)ReplyDelete
I love the scenes you create each month and this one is really lovely! xxReplyDelete
Thank you Lesley. They've been great fun to do.Delete
Hi Claire, this is great! Is the lighter paint work water colour or watered down acrylic?ReplyDelete
Hi thank you for having a look. I've used Derwent Inktense blocks for the background, lightly applied direct to the canvas and then blended with water. The rest is a mix of ink and acrylic paint. I'm constrained by the brief from The Craft Barn and the poem. Cute is not my preferred style but I do like different textures. XxDelete
