Wintry weather

Hello

The weather is set to turn a bit colder where I am next week so I thought this was a good card to share. It was made earlier in the year for a Christmas card challenge with Isa on the theme of gradient.

I used blueprint sketch and faded jeans Distress Ink for the background. Isa introduced the group to Dr. Ph.Martin's bleed proof white for a really opaque white paint. It's great for snow splatters.

Dr. Ph. Martin's : Bleed Proof White : 1fl. Oz (29.57ml)

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely week xx

  1. Hi Claire, loving the card. I've started using this paint, you're right it does make great splatters. I saw your request to see the coasters. I'll try and get round to photographing some of the samples pieces I still have. I'm not doing much with the resin right now as it's a bit cool and the resin is better when it's warm though you can warm it up in a bucket of warm water before using it but as I've been busy with Christmas cards it hasn't really been a problem. I've got some lovely resin fillers from Amazon and made some ring holders filled with shells and little sea creatures. They also sell small rotating light stands and the resin pieces look amazing stood on them, they really come to life with the light glowing through them. Take care and stay warm. Hugs, Angela xxx

  2. Which clear resin do you use? I've only used white so far which cures in about 10mins (Amazing Casting Resin). It's great for small pieces.
