Hello
I do find that if I can do something creative each day, however small, it does lift the spirits. Not always possible of course, but that's one reason why I have joined the @Gelliarts #marchprintingchallenge on Instagram. The joy of monoprinting with a gel plate is that it can be quite a quick process and you soon end up with a lot of prints. I've mainly used Golden open acrylic paints as they are slow drying and a little paint goes a long way.
Here's the first week:
1. flowers
2. circles
3. rainbow
4. hearts
5. feathers
6. letters
7. numbers
Do you have a favourite? Maybe the letters for me, street art inspired.
It's not too late to join in!
Have a lovely week and thank you for stopping by xxx
I think I might take up the challenge if I had a place to leave my Gelli printing stuff ready for the whole month...
ReplyDeleteYou are managing good prints too, mine need more planning I think, a lot end up unused!
Glad you like my Meerkats album, it has been quite popular all around, including myself, and that is a great motivator to carry on blogging! x
These are brilliant Claire. I have to say I love the Gelli plate but I know that I have to get myself organised with space because in no time at all everywhere is covered in prints. I hope you will show us how you've used them some time. Hugs, Angela xXx
