I think I have said before how much I really love swifts, probably as much as I love clouds. At the moment I am missing the swifts, which set off back to Africa at the end of July and start of August, so I decided a bit of swift art would be good therapy.
I used Inktense pencils with new Derwent paint pens and waterbrushes that my husband bought me for our wedding anniversary. He took me to the pencil museum in Keswick (300 miles away) for a special day out to celebrate our 20 years. True love :-)
The world's first pencil.
Pencil art...art made from pencils!
The world's largest pencil.
My stash of goodies from the shop! Just need time to have a play with it all now.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a lovely day xx
I'm finally trying to catch up a little as crafting and blogging have had to take a back seat for a while. I did have time to join in with Giovanna Zara's #craftingwithgiogo mini challenge on Instagram. Unfortunately I didn't quite complete it as we were away for a few days.
Day 1 animals and/or spray
Day 2 from the past
Day3 colours and/or grunge
Day 4 let it go
Day 5 out of the box
Day 6 flying high
Day 7 black and/or flowers
All of the projects used Giogiocraft stencils and/or laser cuts somewhere on them. You never know I may yet finish off the last two days.
