I've had to do a bit of enforced relaxation recently due to a bout of shingles. You'd think that would mean an opportunity to craft but sadly all I have managed so far is a bit of colouring in! Still it has meant that finally I have used the lovely Lion with Bird stamp from Stampendous. Perfect for this sort of situation as it took AGES to colour in and I made a batch of 6!
I added a little decoupage mindful that most will need to be posted, but you could really go to town and layer it up.
I've been waiting for a sunny day to take photos but have given up so they have a slightly pink tinge to them.
I'm off to catch up on other people's blogs. Thank you for stopping by xxx
Materials used:
Stampendous: lion with bird
Giogiocraft stencils
Archival ink
Distress ink
watercolour pencils
Hi Claire, this is lovely and a very gorgeous stamp. You were very kind about my card this week but it was a quick one as we were going away but you're right it does use up those patterned papers and I have loads of those from years back. Wishing you a very happy and creative week, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteUnusual stamp, Claire. The colouring looks good and it is a great pastime. Commiserations for the photography troubles... I too have been waiting for a good sunny day, but even then the sun is too low in the sky to be any good inside!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, for me it's a great and beautiful card, just perfect like that in these colours and with a bit of stencilling on the corners, how lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteEven more great if you managed to cerate a bunch of 6 cards using this gorgeous stamp!
Simply sweet and adorable. xxx
One of your best card ever! For the light pastel colouring, for the beautiful stamp and last but not least that Mandalas on the cornes ;-)
ReplyDeleteHope you are getting better and better.
