Making your own stencils

This started off as a Gelli Plate background using PaperArtsy Fresco Finish chalk paints with some additional stamping and stencilling.  The cricketer was taken from a clip art image, printed on to card and cut out to leave a  stencil.  More paint was sponged through the aperture.  The wording was cut from white card using an original Silhouette digital craft cutter.

    1. Thank you. I've been inspired by your work for some time so if just a tiny bit of your creativity rubs off on me I will be very pleased. Today was great. Will photograph the piece and post it later this week.

  2. I love how you can cut the wording using the silhouette it looks fab on this one. Making the stencils from clip art etc really widens the choice from the commercial ones. I need to spend more time playing with the gelli plate, your result here is great 😊
